“She…she slapped me and also—”
"David!” Luis called out.
"Yes Boss,” David replied, walking towards Luis.
"Take my wife to my room," he said, and I followed David without protest.
"Luis she hit me are you just going to—”
“Mommy, are you going to sleep?" Hope inquired as we crossed paths at the corner on our way to Luis' room.
"Yes, honey, I am going to sleep," I said, knowing that the worst may happen.
David suddenly stopped at a closed door and handed me the key before instructing me to wait for Luis there. I unlocked it and walked to the surprise I had not expected.
A floral pattern led to a bed with two bottles of champagne and roses spread around it.
"Was he going to have an incredible moment while his daughter was getting cold?" I asked myself.
