When we finished making love at Ariella's house, I had no idea what had gotten into me. My feelings for her had grown stronger, and I thought it was time to express them.
I could not wait any longer, but I still had the concern that she might not feel the same way. I helped her apply lotion to her back and could not believe I was doing it for the first time since Hope's mother died.
When we got downstairs, I could see her aunt was unhappy, but that was something I had to deal with the next day since she had the guts to insult me for Enrico.
Just as I was going to open the door for Ariella, the cops arrived and took me away. Even though David could have fixed the problem right then, I merely stopped him. My heart was somehow pained.
