I made my way to my room, went to take a shower, and then made my way downstairs for breakfast. Everyone was waiting for me, even though I had already asked the maids to tell them to go on since I'd be a little late.
“What a boss lady?" my uncle commented as I took my seat.
“Mommy, will I go see Daddy?" Hope asked.
“Ye…yes sweetie you will," I responded.
How would I even say no, or explain what his condition was like to that innocent child? Emily cleared her throat and we all looked at her.
“Luis is going through hell," she said while I gave her a serious look.
“What do you want to achieve with that?" Annie asked.
“Seriously now? Annie Luis is like a hus….I mean brother to me,” she said.

“Mrs. DeLuca, would you like anything else?" the maid asked.
