CHAPTER 27 SABRINA I guess I'm not exactly shocked that Lachlan is gone when I wake up in our hotel room. I thought he'd be either asleep or still hungover from the night before. I'm also not shocked when I wander into the kitchen, finding a note on the quartz countertop with handwriting that reads "Breakfast on me." Assuming he's left to get this breakfast, I go to the bathroom, wash my face, brush my teeth and walk back into my room. My pants—and underwear—are set aside, the same as when I came in, but there's a small gift on my bed. I walk toward it, then halt, hearing a familiar noise echoing from my phone on the bedside table. I walk toward it, seeing that Lachlan has left me a text message, blowing a raspberry at him that I know he won't even see. "Got you a little surprise,"
