CHAPTER 13 LACHLAN It's no less than an hour later, and we're both still in Drew's office, poring over his laptop, and I still haven't thought of anything to say. It's probably not a good thing that I haven't thought of anything to say. The girl I've spent the last few years trying not to bed with is standing in her brother—my best friend's—office, rifling through his belongings while searching for something that isn't in his damn office.
