Keira’s POV I lay in Jeremy’s arms a night before the feast worrying eating away at me. “I can feel anxiousness ooze out of you” he whispers placing a kiss on my shoulder. We’re currently spooning and he is the bigger spoon with his hand on my belly like a protective parent. I sigh remembering that nothing is ever really hidden from him “I’m worried about tomorrow’s feast. I feel like an intruder despite the allegiance vows I took” I say and he turns me over to face him. “Just what if someone objects to me there, or something happens and that shining woman says she changed her mind and I’m out” I say and he raises an eyebrow “Shining who?” he asks. I try to recollect her name and fail miserably. “I can’t remember but the one who showed up when I pledge allegiance” I say and he laughs
