Melanie’s POV

As we got outside I started to walk up the trail till the girls stoped me.

Ummm where you going,? Elaine say standing buy the gulf cart.

Umm.. Walking??? I say with a dumb founded expression.

Well you will be walking for a long time. Megan says with a slight giggle already cracking her self a alcoholic beverage.

Why.. where is this bonfire going to be??

The old foot ball Field which is still in the pack territory just barely on the edge of the camp grounds. Elaine says starting up the gulf cart, so come on un less you rather walk..

I thought for a moment and decided that I was to lazy to walk that far, as I got in we started to drive off I hope tonight goes well..

We drove a little ways making it to the edge of the field where there was already a bunch of people, I would say a good 30 some we didn’t have a big camp but it was big enough to hold some pack members and some camp kids so we was doing pretty well.

Making my way over to the bonfire I realized I lost Megan and Elaine, great.. where the heck did they run off to before I new it I was around a bunch of people I wasn’t familiar with. It was bringing out my anxiety, as I pushed and shoved my way through the body’s that Surrounded the bonfire not really paying attention on who I was pushing through because it was getting dark and it didn’t help that the Field was shadowed by big trees.

Finally pushing my way free i some how mange to catch my foot on a beer bottle that someone had thrown down which made me stumble but before I could fall on the ground a pair of strong arms grabbed me.

As I slowly look up to see who caught me I couldn’t help but take in his god like features he was wearing khaki like short that hung perfectly around his wast, I bit my lip looking more I could almost see his what I would guess be a eight pack underneath his shirt as I got up to his face my throat hitched as I couldn’t speak for a moment until I looked directly in to those beautiful amber eyes that were glowing from his wolf and the bonfire that we was right next to that added a firey shine to them, next thing I new was he was gripping on to my waste.

MINE!!! He said with a growl, which shook my core..

MINE!! I said back claiming his words as my own.

As we stood there for a second I realized what just happened I found my mate and he isn’t just my mate but my old best friend that I’m now face to face with.

I started to get tears in my eyes un able to speak I wasn’t prepared for all this at ones, but before I new it he let go of my hips grabbing my hand leading me away from everyone we made are way to the edge of the bank where everyone had parked there ATVs and golf carts. As we was walking up the path I couldn’t help but think where he was taking me, I had to know what he was thinking so I stoped before he could take me any further not knowing what was going to happen next but I had to say something..

Hang on Jax’s!! I say with a little more excitement that I said his name for the first time and it felt so good my wolf was purring at this point,,shaking my head from my dirty thoughts.

Listen Mel I need to take you a way from this party I don’t think I can handle all they guys looking at you, and I can’t can smell how worked up your getting.

As we drove a little ways down the paths we finally making to my cabin, before getting out I look into those beautiful amber eyes man I was having a really hard time leaving him how am I going to get through this night with out him by me. As I walk in I get stopped by two peeping toms that was fidgeting to keep down there excitement, as I walking pass them to head upstairs to my room knowing good and well they aren’t going to leave me alone till they got answers making my way in to my room I hear my door shut behind the two best friends that was overly excited to hear how my night went.
