The man stood vigil beside Erica's bed as
the night naturally camelioned to morning.
numerious sticks of cigarettes and shots upon shots of liquor kept him company all through the night, you would wonder why he nighter looked drunk nor high, perhaps he was used to all the engagements.
When the cigarette in his hand reached a certain level, gravity took over and the ash fell to the floor, he grounded the object and stubbed it in the ashtray, waiting momentrally untill it stopped smoking, before he opened a new packet of cigarette, pulled a stick from the packet with his mouth, brought a lighter closer to the tip of the cigarette, sucked in as if he was sucking a milkshake through the straw, as the Cigarette lit quickly and burned uniformly.
He was puffing at his cigarette while his deep eyes were gazing enjoyably at the little girl who laid peacefully on the king sized bed,a sheepish grin formed on his Stern sculpted face at some piont.
The beeping sound caused by the message that entered his phone made him adjusted in his seat as he read the words.
"I am downstairs now"
On reaching the door, he turned to check the girl as though to be sure of her existence, before he completely disappeared from the room.
Well as contradicting as it may seem like to your earlier observation, the participation at which he engaged in,did quite a number on him because he was staggering all through as he descended the stairs, he almost fell and then his friend was quicker to catch him.
"man you look wasted" the man said as he led him to a Couch.
"The girl hasn't opened her eyes since last night" He reluctantly averted his friend's worry as he spoke.
"Who is the girl, where is she?" The man asked while his green eyes surveyed the enormous house that was glorified with extravagant interiors.
"In my room" He briefly answered as he leaned back in the couch.
Though his friend was dressed in a casual outfit, but still the stethoscope around his neck exposed him as a medical practitioner.
He watched as his friend climbed the stairs until the man faded, before he cupped his head with his hands and groaned painfully from the migraine that has invaded his head.
The hunky man obviously lived like a king, judging by the many servants that were to his disposal, the macho men and masculine looking women that garrisoned the impossing mansion and the way he elegantly carried himself.
When he caught sight of his friend, he smiled sheepishly at the man's bemused countenance.
"Oh my freaking chicken pizza!" His friend screamed in a completely flagabasted manner.
"The universe has finally blessed me" He said with a sparkle of excitement in his eyes.
"I just saw a little version of Tina" his friend indicated.
He slightly nodedd his head in agreement.
"She is as beautiful as her mother" His friend said.
He briefly answered in a convincing manner. "She is a replica"
His friend enquired as he sat down. "But how did you get her...?"
The man paused for a moment, peering at him, he continued his question.
"Pope what have you done?"
"I did what i should have done a long time ago" he sounded defensive, with no atom of remourse.
"Tina is dead?" His friend asked.
"I sent 70 men" He boasted.
The man's surprised expression slowly disappeared, replaced by anger, he yelled.
" She was the love of your life!"
At this words his anger lit up and he could hardly restrian the rage that burned within, he yelled back.
"Untill she betrayed me! she betrayed us! every one of us!"
"No she did not betray us, the young woman just turned a new leave and followed her heart!" The man argued
"Well she betrayed me, rejecting my love for her she chose that moral p***y over me! even though i gave and risked everything for her, she still rejected me!" He spited those words out with contempt.
His friend was now more furious as he glared at him.
"So all of a f*****g sudden this is all about you? you had no right to take a drastic decision without the permission of the family!" The man angrily stated.
He screamed angrily as he antagonically rushed his friend like a beast, the man pulled on a combative style, but he overpowered his friend, before the man could even struggle, he lifted him up with an energetic motion like a feather and pinned him against the wall.
With his eyes very red from anger or from smoking to much, he looked sternly at his friend, locking eyes with the man, he spoke coldly.
"My name is Pope and i am an ordained Capo. i will do whatever pleases me, with,or without the family!"
Out of fear, the man instantly had a mood swing like weather, his eyes fell in defeat, he bowed his head as a sign of respect as he apologized to his friend.
"I am sorry Capo, please forgive me"
Pope instantly released him and attempted to rearrange the man's shirt that was now looking squized due to his intense clutches, but the poor man swiftly retracted.
The man's question contradicted the dignified silence which the house maintained for a moment.
" What will happen to the little unicorn?"
"She is mine now, mine alone,so she stays with me" He possessively answered.
The man was about to object, but when Pope raised an eyebrow against him, he retreated. Pope continued.
"The girl is all i have now, she will give me everything that Tina never gave me.i will make sure of that."
He made a face expression as if he remembered something, he asked.
"How is my little girl?"
"She is fine. she is just fatigued, she will wake up in no time"
The man man answered.
In some minutes the man left.
Pope was already settling on his couch when he heard a loud scream coming from upstairs.
