We made it to the next town. The sign was faded and hard to read. There were weeds all over it too. It was late afternoon. Just like the last one, there was no one out on the streets. It was odd since it was daytime. It was around the same size as the last one and seemed just as empty. We walked up to one of the shops. The hours sign said it wasn't open until after dark. We went to another shop, same thing. There was an old bus stop that seemed closed down. It had some benches out front, so we all sat down to figure out the next course of action.
"Maybe this one really is a ghost town," Amanda, a short girl around Elysah's age with muddy brown hair and dark green-colored eyes said.
