Elysah was gone by the time I woke up. I figured she had gone to talk to Zevran before we had the pack meeting. I got up and showered before throwing on some clothes and leaving the room. Something about today felt off. I didn't know if it was because of finding out that Fae and Vampires, or nightwalkers as they called themselves, were real or what. The mansion even seemed off to me. It was quiet like I was the only one there. I went up to Zevran's door and knocked. There was no movement so I tried the other rooms. No one answered. Maybe they were downstairs already, I thought to myself. I went down the stairs to the dining hall. The leftover from breakfast was still on the table but no one else was there. Jeeves must have heard me because he walked into the dining hall.
