When night fell, Maliki went into the dining hall where Stephan, my parents, Jeeves, and I were waiting for him to join us. He looked to each of us before taking a seat next to me.
"What's going on? Is it about who was at the door earlier?" Maliki asked. I wasn't able to speak, so Stephan spoke for me.
"Jackson has been caught by the hunters. They came here to take Emmah, Heidi, and Leon. Jackson was able to dream call and warn Emmah before they got here, so they stayed upstairs. One of them knows Emmah. We are planning to rescue Jackson," Stephan started.
"We will be able to track them down, but we need more than just the 3 of us if we want to succeed in the rescue mission. We aren't 100% sure if Jackson is even still alive and it could be just a trap," my dad finished. Maliki stood
