“Mom” Kyle’s childish voice called out as he tapped his mom gently.
It was time for school and his mommy was not yet up but he didn’t want to go to school all alone this morning again.
Diane’s eyes opened slowly and she stood up abruptly as she registered her son’s voice in her head.
“Baby what’s wrong?” She asked in a slightly raised voice that revealed subtle hints of panic but understood immediately and clasped her hands on her forehead.
“Baby, mommy is sorry” she said as she placed her hands on his small stunning face and let out a sigh.
The exhaustion from working through the night to complete the plan and also her staying out late with him had made her extremely tired and she had unknowingly over slept.
