“Are we going out?” Kyle asked his mom happily as he took in her carefully dressed self. His eyes shining brightly as he took in the eyes of people staring at his mom, his chin raised up high in pride.
He knew his mom wouldn’t put on such carefully selected outfits if she had no place she was going.
“Mommy has a meeting by 4pm, so after lunch, baby is going to wait for mom in her office or let Mrs Evans come and pick you up” Diane said as she pulled his cheeks slightly.
She picked him up gently and entered the car with him.
“Did you remember to apply your sunscreen during school break?” She asked him as she looked at his face that was slightly flushed.
“Mmmh, baby listens to mommy all the time” Kyle said happily and Diane nodded in satisfaction.
