“Torin, we have a situation,” Wynne linked me. “You think?” I growled at him. We were losing. It was obvious. We stood no chance against the Elementals. All we could do was try to hold on long enough to give the rest of the pack time to escape, to get to allied territory and hopefully hide or find enough wolves to try to fight back.
