The twilight zone

finally a company!

I was alert.....my heart was pounding very hard but I stood calmly and caught my knives firmly......to my relief I found out that the creature is a parrot..... But I didn't know how I didn't notice him earlier but maybe because I got into the bedroom directly from the window and locked it up? however I guessed it was Lester from the picture I saw earlier ..

Lester : Samantha.... Hungry....prr... Hungry.....

When he saw me he stopped in his tracks.... But I whispered to him : I am going to look for food be quiet..... Surprisingly enough he did as I told him .he was well trained ...I thought.... So I looked in the cupboards for biscuits and found some right away. when I give him some he ate them greedily.... Well I was hungry as well so I looked for food in the fridge.... I found some fruits and chocolate bars some energy drinks some sandwiches too I ate some and then stuffed my backpack with a lot of food and energy drinks and saved place by wearing a belt and hanging the knives from them.... I ate and Lester was sitting looking at me without making a sound when I heard another sound and this time I had a very bad feeling..... I readied my knives again.

Me: *whispering*.Lester stay behind me! He did as I told...and I knew why all this good stuff was left it was because Samantha herself turned into a zombie.... But she wasn't an ordinary zombie... She was a powerful human and became a more powerful zombie....she saw me and hissed....she was a moving limp a body without a soul she looked miserable..... She started running full speed at me but fortunately I was faster..... I jumped over the table in the blink of the eye and kicked her in the face so that she fall down.... And that gave me enough time to jump on her body standing so I can s*******r her neck off her body... but while killing her I caught a glimpse of her eyes which was of course dead but behind this look I observed a look of sadness and misery.....when I finished I decided that I would put the body on fire but before that I took a good look in the place and decided to get more clothes from the closet since I was extremely a clean person.... And I cared a lot about my hyigene....and ended up taking a black coat some tight pants and shirts..... When I went to take a good last look in the kitchen I found something like a very tiny stove that may fit in my backpack.... I said why not... Took a small pan and found a small kettle as well as a lot of ramen and instantl noddles....don't blame me since I had an enormous bag.... And it was almost empty... I had to fill it up with something.... When I was starting to fire up the place I heard Lester that I completely forgot about.....

Lester : wait..... wait..... wait

I guessed he wanted to come with me so I took enough biscuits with me for him... And put him on my shoulder

Me : I am rose your owner now... I guess?

Not gonna lie but I felt stupid for talking to a parrot

Lester : rose... Owner... Rose... Owner..

That's how I got my first friend.... I decided to wait and rest till night... And at night I put the place on fire but I started it very small to let me have some time to escape where zombies are easily distracted... I did so.... And when I went down with the parrot I headed to a pharmacy where I found an unbelievable thing.
