The words that I had told him were totally uncalled for, I had felt bad for them but it was needed at the point. There was nothing that would have stopped me from telling him such later in the future.
It was true, no one among the both of us owe an apology to each other. We might have been mate but that was it. I have never imagined myself with him in any way, not now that I had to find out that he was related to Alpha Lucien, the man that had caused me this pain.
Don’t get me wrong, I will forever appreciate what he had done to me, the sacrifices and the rest but that was all. I couldn’t imagine myself with him in love or anything more than that.
