Valen The sun hung high in the sky, casting a golden glow over the f The air was thick with the scent of pine and earth, and I could hear the soft rustle of leaves in the wind. The forest was alive, breathing with us, behind. I had chosen this place, this wild, untouched corner of the pack, because it was where we both felt free. The huge pack meeting hall that hadn't been in used for ages had always served as a voice to not just only me, but other members of the pack. It used to be open, but after a rainy season event, it had to be covered to avoid what had happened to repeat itself again.
