“I am much better, I promise.” I smiled at Nadine that was adamant to force me to stay back in the room and rest as she had put it.
This wasn't the first time that she had managed to get me to be a fool and not go out as I had wanted. And it wasn't like I wanted to go outside the house. I was just to go around the house and compliment it. “Alpha Valen would kill me if you step out of this room today.” Her voice said so much about how terrified she is at the thoughts of it.
I held her hand and moved closer to her. “That's the thing, he would want to kill you but he can't because you would always be by my side and I swear to you that our limit is already inside the house.” I explained it better to her.
