We sit in the hospital room, the soft beeping of the machines filling the silence. Aria is still in a coma. I glance at my friends, but anger boils inside me, especially after seeing Susan’s audition on TV.
Chloe suddenly breaks the silence. “I’m done playing nice,” she says, her eyes filled with anger.
“What do you mean?” Maira asks, tilting her head.
