Aria’s POV I sit in the hospital bed, staring at the walls. I’ve been awake for a while now, but everything feels blurry. The doctors say I’m fine, but I can’t shake this weight in my chest. They say I can go home today, but I’m not sure I want to. “Aria, you’re free to go!” Dr. Smith says, checking my charts. He smiles, but I can’t smile back. “Okay,” I mumble, feeling like a shadow.
