Aria’s POV
A week passes, and I feel like I’m stuck in the same place. The days blend together. I spend my time working and trying to avoid the feelings that keep creeping back.
Today feels different, though. I wake up early, and for the first time, I decide to do something. I grab my phone and dial Maira’s number.
“Hey, Aria!” Maira answers cheerfully. “How are you?”
