CHAPTER FIVE

1104 Words
Briana's Point Of View Until we drove home, Omarion and I never said a word to each other. Despite his silence, I was still terrified of him. The silent treatment from him was killing me from the inside. I wanted Omarion to yell at me just so I could determine his next move. I stood in the living room while Omarion went into the room. I retracted at every attempt to get closer to him. I was scared that he was going to hit me in the face. My woes worsened when Omarion showed up again with my luggage. Fear gripped me as I went on my knees to beg him. “Please don't kick me out of your house. I don't have anywhere else to go. I don't want to roam the street in this condition,” “Who cares? Do I look like I give a f**k about you anymore? Who's the father of that bastard in your womb? "I know it's not mine because we've always had unprotected s*x since you moved in with me,” he asked me nicely. I knew the next time might be worse. “It's yours, Omarion. "I've got no reason to lie to you. "Have you forgotten that night we had s*x without protection?” I lied. I tried to play a fast one on Omarion. I had no idea that he was two steps ahead of me. “You must be the biggest fool on earth to think I'm going to listen to that . What the f**k are you talking about? For f*****g sake, we barely even have s*x. Wait a minute! Have you been cheating on me? Is Tasha part of this? "Did she force you into having s*x with another man?” He got angry and unleashed the beast in me. I tried to talk to him, but he wasn't listening to me. He took my luggage into the car and drove me straight to Tasha's apartment. He ensured that Tasha was around to witness the drama. “What the heck is going on here? "What is your luggage doing outside?” Tasha asked. I was too ashamed to admit to Tasha that I was pregnant with someone I didn't even know. All I did was lean on her shoulder and cry. “Ask your friend who got her pregnant.” Omarion rudely answered. His response didn't come as a surprise to me. He never liked Tasha in the first place. “Is Britana pregnant? "That's impossible. "Even if she's pregnant, you're definitely going to be responsible for it,” Tasha defended me without even hearing my side of the story. I can't seem to imagine how disappointed she would be when she discovered that Omarion was right. For your information, my relationship with your friend is over. "I had to bring her here myself so you could witness everything," Omarion said and walked away. Tasha tried to talk to him, but she ignored her like she never existed. I watched Omarion walk out of my life for good, and I couldn't do anything to stop him. His break-up reminded me how miserable my life was. “Please come inside. "I need you to explain what just happened,” Tasha said as she took my luggage inside her house. Absolute decorum enclosed the atmosphere as we both waited for someone to speak first. It's almost as though we were in a breathing competition. “Briana?” Tasha called my name multiple times. “I want you to be honest with me. "Who's responsible for your pregnancy?” Tasha asked me while she dragged her words. “Honestly, I don't know. "I can't recall having s*x with another man aside from Omarion,” I responded with a shaky voice as tears strolled down my eyes. “But he just said he wasn't responsible.” Tasha yelled at me. She apologized immediately after realizing that she hadn't spoken to me in such a manner before. “You have got to believe me, Tasha. I haven't had s*x with anyone before, aside from Omarion. And we've always used protection during s*x,” I narrated. “Oh s**t. "This is getting messier by the day.” Tasha stood up and paced around like a homeless wolf in the woods. She faced palms and walked back to me, snapping her fingers. "Oh, yes, I remember now, “Remember what?” I became more alerted than I ever was. I ensured that my eyes were widened to avoid missing out on the things she had to say. “That night, we went to the clubhouse when I found you half naked on the ground. "Did you recall what happened?'” Tasha charged me. She was making an effort to make me rethink, yet I couldn't fail. “Please think, Brianna. "That's the only thing that can get us the answers we seek,” Tasha added. After a thorough check, a thought flickered in my heart like the sunlight. “Yes, I remember now,” I placed my hands below my jawline while narrating the one-night stand I had with a total stranger. “A one-night stand? Now that's ridiculous,” Tasha scoffed. “Now we're heading somewhere. "Do you recall his face, name, or anything that could be used to track him?” Tasha questioned me like a private investigator. “I'm afraid, none. The place was too dark. Besides, I was too drunk. Could barely see anyone in front of me,” I wasn't done talking when Tasha tapped me on that leg. "We need to return to the clubhouse now. If you don't recall his face, you can still describe his physique, don't you?' “Of course I can. "I might be drunk, but certainly not blind,” I responded with confidence. Scenes from that fateful night were starting to invade my head. “Now you see. We at this moment have a lead. Come with me immediately,” Tasha urged me as she drove us straight to the clubhouse. “Now listen, We were heading towards the bartender. "I am sure, with your description, we will be able to find him,” Tasha instructed. As we gestured to the bartender, no heart didn't stop breathing hard. Inside of me, I hoped and prayed that the bartender would be able to divulge some important things that would help us find that man responsible for my pregnancy. I wouldn't have imagined myself becoming a single mother in my present pathetic situation. I might as well terminate the pregnancy or give it up for adoption after conception.
