After taking Fate to get ice cream and to the park, I was exhausted. I wasn't the only one. Grey carried Fate to her room because she insisted that she was, without a doubt, too tired to walk. Of course, being the wonderful Papaw I knew he would be, he never hesitated. He swooped that little girl up into his arms, snuggled, and kissed her whole face as we made our way inside. Watching him with her was everything. He was worth my sacrifice and so much more. I wouldn't have been able to go on without him. He, our children, and now our grandchild are my entire world. I miss Trinity being within me, but now that I know she is with Fate, I feel so much better. She is safe and so is Fate.
