Tears began to fall from Lina’s eyes, and she struggled to maintain her composure. “I’m afraid of not being enough, of failing. I’ve been so caught up in my own struggles that I didn’t see how much I was hurting you. I’m sorry.”

“I do see it,” Jonas replied softly, rubbing her back in a soothing gesture. “And I’m here for you, every step of the way. We’ll get through this together.”
