Chloe’s POV
I didn't hesitate as I crouched down and unbuckled his belt, grabbed his c**k, and massaged it slowly. He was so big!
Do you like that?" I teased as I wriggled his tip.
"Mmm…" he grunted as he licked my right ear. "...I love it." He whispered.
My whole body tingled at the sound of his voice.
But then… I heard another familiar voice call out to me.
"Chloe!"
"Huh?"
"Are you okay, darling?" I heard the voice ask.
"Huh?" I mumbled again, flinching slightly on my seat.
"I was asking if you're okay, love. You zoned out for a moment."
"Oh! I gasped, my cheeks flushing with embarrassment as I snapped back to reality suddenly.
Goddess! Was I having wet daydreams about my mate?
"I hope you didn't feel uncomfortable when the driver hit that hole," Zayne said, placing his hands gently on my left thigh.
"Um… hole?" I muttered, literally drooling.
"Are you sure you're feeling alright?"
"Uh… yes!" I said almost loudly, sitting up properly on the seat. "Where are we headed?" I asked, staring out the window in an attempt to distract myself and control my horny wolf.
"I'm taking you back to my pack. You're going to stay by my side, and I promise that no harm will come to you." Zayne said, and I could feel my cheeks heat up at his words.
I couldn’t help but smile as I stared at him. He genuinely cared about me.
Zayne interlocked his hands in mine and planted a kiss on my forehead, and I smiled awkwardly.
Then, there was silence between us.
We passed by a lonely road, and my eyes caught a signboard that read, "Goodbye Silverbrook, welcome to Ebonridge." Silverbrook is where Moonstone Pack is located, while Ebonridge belongs to the Bloodmoons. I heaved a sigh as I read it. I had left the Moonstone Pack for real. It still felt like a dream.
I marveled at the beauty of the place. Busy roads, nice parks, shops… It looked nothing like Moonstone. Unlike the Moonstone Pack, there was civilization here. I was awed.
"We're here." Zayne said, startling me out of my thoughts. The limo stopped by a mansion. It was so big, and I wondered how it looked inside if this was how the outside looked.
A guard opened the door for us, and I got down, still staring at the mansion.
"Where are we?" I asked as I stared at Zayne.
"We're at your new home. This is our packhouse. The Bloodmoon Pack." Zayne responded with a warm smile.
"It's beautiful." I said, with my voice barely a whisper.
"Come on." Zayne said as he grabbed my hand gently and led me in.
"Alpha, welcome!" My eyes wandered in search of the voice that called out to Zayne, and they landed on an old lady that looked over seventy years old. "I didn't know you'd be back so soon. How was the ceremony?
She talked so casually to Zayne, and I only wondered how close they were.
"I didn't stay for the ceremony, Rose. There was no need to." Zayne said bluntly. "How is my father doing now?"
"Oh!" The lady exclaimed. "Alpha Dante is resting now. We called the Pack healer to check on him as you instructed."
"Good. I don't want him having more episodes."
Episodes? What were they talking about? And who was this woman? These unanswered questions tugged deeply at the back of my mind, but what even bothered me was the fact that Zayne didn't even bother to introduce me.
"Who is she?" The woman asked, startling me out of my thoughts. She sized me from head to toe with a look of disgust.
"She's—"
"The new maid?" She interrupted Zayne suddenly.
I could see him clench his fists with her words.
"She's my mate!!" He declared with clenched teeth.
The woman cowered slowly but regained her stance.
"Alpha… are you sure?" She asked, her eyes scanning me from head to toe once more. "She looks more like an omega… a maid! How could she be your mate?
In one swift motion, Zayne lunged at her, pinning her to the wall with his arm on her throat. "Now listen to me, and listen good, Rose. Chloe is my mate and your future Luna. You'll respect her just as much as you respect me!"
"Al…Alpha…… I can't… breathe." She begged, literally choking.
I rushed to them in a hurry, touching Zayne’s arm in an attempt to calm him down. "Zayne, please…" I pleaded. "Don't hurt her."
His eyes changed suddenly from their normal grey to a bright shade of copper, and I could tell he was extremely furious.
He let go of her suddenly, and she fell onto the floor hard, coughing terribly.
"I'm sorry, Miss—" I tried to apologize but stopped suddenly when I saw how badly she glared at me.
"Next time, you watch how you speak to my mate!" Zayne spat as he dragged my hands to go in with him.
I turned back frantically, and the woman still tried to steady her breathing.
A wave of sadness washed over me. I hadn't even been here for up to 24 hours, and I had already ruined a good friendship.
Zayne led me into a large room. A chandelier hung high up in the ceiling, illuminating the room. There was a walk-in closet and a large shelf at the far end corner of the room and a vanity that was decorated with a lot of skin products.
And the bed… it was so huge!
I continued to gawk at the room's beauty, giggling like a 5-year-old.
"Welcome to your room, darling."
"My room? We… we aren't staying together?" I asked, saddened by the thought.
How was I supposed to survive a whole night without him?
"No, love. I didn't want to rush you." He said softly, brushing off a strand of hair that obstructed my face. "Is that a problem?"
"Oh no! Of course not!" I said, slightly embarrassed.
"You should take some rest, darling. Tomorrow, I will formally introduce you to the rest of the pack."
"O…okay." I muttered, almost stuttering.
"I'll see you in the morning." He said as he planted a soft kiss on my right cheek.
My cheeks flushed red as he did that.
I stood there still smiling like an i***t, and when he walked out of the room, I crashed back onto the bed, praying to the Moon Goddess that I'd have another wet dream about my mate.
