I was about to turn around to say that I am done but then Damien suddenly pinned me to the exit door. It didn't hurt but it caused my irritation to spiral out.
"Get off of me Damien!" I spat trying to shove him off but obviously failing miserably.
"No please, I won't let us end like this." He looked at me straight in the eyes.
"Ashter can't you see how hard this is for me? It's not easy on me either. But I'm trying. I'm trying so hard. Can't you see how much I need you? You are the only one who keeps me sane." I felt myself start falling for everything he was saying.
No matter how mad I was, I couldn't ignore the fact that my heart keeps loving him.
