Damien was right about Ashter's happiness fading. But the younger girl was trying and the fact that she was strong enough to pull herself out of bed every day made his heart swell. And every morning Damien would pull his dejected girlfriend into a hug and kiss her temple and tell her he was proud of her and suddenly, Ashter's day didn't seem to be destined for badness anymore. Every day was progress for the both of them, Damien was happy to see that the younger girl was slowly recovering. She is also opening up to him.
