Hazel brings Peter into the library. I don’t think I’ve moved since I fed him the last time. “Sorry, Princess. He’s hungry.”
I nod and take him from her to feed him again. My father left this morning after breakfast. I’d have been in tears except that I came straight to the library with my mate. I know NOTHING about werewolf law, but I fully intend to learn.
I’ve read so many books today that my eyes may begin to bleed. Joseph has poured through many books himself, but since he’s already familiar with the laws, it’s been easier for him to search through books that pertain to what we’re looking for.
I gently cradle Peter as he latches and lay my head back, closing my eyes tightly for some relief. I should probably take a break other than to feed him.
