Chapter 10 The next two weeks went as quickly as Mum’s lemon cannoli at Christmas, and before I knew it, Josie’s rehearsal dinner was here. I’d pushed all thoughts of Nick, Wil and Italy to the back of my mind and focused solely on getting tonight right for Josie and Brendan. Then, once it was all done with, I’d deal with the shambles that was my life. After a full day of prep at the café, the formalities of the church rehearsal had gone smoothly, and by quarter to eight the café was full of laughter and chitchat.
