Chapter 42 A little over forty-eight hours later, my mini roller-suitcase clacked along the uneven backstreets of Bari. What a whirlwind couple of days it had been. My emotions had been all over the place. One minute I was elated to see Leo, the next I was questioning my decision to leave Melbourne again. I’d called Wil and told him my decision after I left Anna’s. Although it had been hard, it was the closure I needed. Which sounds a bit woo-woo, but I think we both felt that way. Wil will be okay. He will find the right person, probably when he least expects it. I smiled to myself. The hardest thing though, had been telling Dad and Nick that I didn’t want to take over the café. ‘I don’t understand.
