Lying in bed that night with the shutters open so I could see the patch of dark sky between the buildings, my thoughts were stuck on Leo. There was no doubt there was a spark between us. I was sure he felt it too, even if it had cooled slightly once he found out who I was. But he did say he wanted to see me again. Not that anything could happen between us—especially with the rivalry—but at least we could be friends on the “down-low”, as they say. Although what would be wrong with a little holiday romance?
