Selene's POV..
Two days after.
Today, Luther's mother is arriving at the Mansion. Liam had gone to the airport to pick her up, while I stayed behind to finalize the arrangements..
I had my mother's room decorated to her taste. It had been a short while without her in the Mansion but I felt her absence. She accepted me and treated me like her own daughter.
She was very nice and warm even though she kept this cold facade for people. I knew who she was beneath the cold expressions she gave out and I fear that if she ever finds out that I had deceived the entire pack, her son and her as well, she might never forgive me.
A sigh escaped my lips as I sat on the foot of the bed. My biggest sore in this life is going to be the fact that this life that I live isn't mine.
