Selene POV
Before Eliza could reply, the door pushed open and Luther walked in with Zed following behind him.
Didn't Eliza say he went for a meeting? Could the meeting have ended by now?
"Luther, you are here? Didn't you attend the meeting anymore?" Eliza asked, pulling the questions out of my thoughts.
"No, I got it canceled." Luther answered with a straight face as his eyes raked all over me.
"You got it canceled for real?" Eliza asked again.
"Yes, go now, don't you have a meeting to attend?" Luther threw back.
"Emm, I do but I'm already late, I don't think I will meet up" Eliza replied checking her wrist watch.
"You don't have to worry Zed will take you there and he will make sure you don't miss it okay?" Luther asked, taking a seat beside my bed.
