The day was finally over and Seleneran up to my room, lying on her bed kicking her shoes out as she took deep breaths in and out, thinking about what to do. She wasn't entirely free, especially since she had a couple of things to find out first, but it didn't make things any better.
“I see you're getting used to work life, huh?” Luther asked, making his way round the room.
She rolled her eyes at him, trying to ignore his presence. He was only trying his best to torture and make her quit, but she knew just how to play her cards right and didn't plan on giving up.
“You can do whatever you please, but this is not my first time working, so I know my way around it, rather don't get too cocky,” she warned.
He raised his hands up in the air, and she got started on the work instead. It
