A cloud of dust blankets the makeshift hospital. The doctor decided to tidy up while waiting for his partner to show; put some of his nervous energy to good use. I hope Carl is right about the police not coming back. He glances at the security monitor again. He's had a nagging feeling that something terrible was going to happen all day. A notion he can't seem to shake.  He's hanging the last tapestry on the wall when a loud bang thunders through the sparsely furnished room. He turns to find three burly men in the entryway.
