“Hello, Jasper, I just saw the boss’s bride at a club now. She didn’t actually die”
“Are you sure? She was the one you saw. We heard for ourselves at the hospital when the doctor announced her death, so how could she possibly wake up from death”
“Well, I do not know about that, but I am certain that it’s boss’s bride that I saw. Tell this to the boss, I am sure he will take some actions”
“Alright, I will inform the boss now”
He ran so quickly to tell the boss about the news he just got. Oh no, that means Isabella will start being monitored again. That’s bad.
“Boss, Boss, Jerry, where is Boss, I have important news to share with him”
“ Boss is in his office, he had an important meeting so he went there”
“Ok, it’s the home office, right?”
“Yh” he ran to tell the boss.
Getting the office, the boss was still having a meeting, he waited till the boss was true and then he told him.
“Boss, I just got news that will shock you”
“What news could that be? Go straight to the point and stop beating around the bush”
“Boss, your bride is still alive”
“Whattttt......”
The moment he heard this, he remembered the s*x he had with her, and a sudden l**t filled his eyes. You could tell that he could do anything to have her right now.
“Find her location right now and bring her to me now”
“Yes, boss”
Isabella was in trouble now because I am sure Lucas would not let her go again. Her bad days had just started.
The guards looked for her everywhere but could not find her at the club. They spread out to different hotels in that area in order to look for her. They could not still find her. As they were about to return, a receptionist at one of the hotels confirmed that she saw her at the hotel and that she lodged with a guy. The guards immediately told Lucas and Lucas to become so jealous and instructed them to break into the room and bring his bride to him. They bribed the receptionist and took the room keys. The cute guy that took Bella to the hotel woke up upon hearing the commotion outside, and when they entered and saw him, they bowed down to him.
I know everyone wants to know who this guy is for them to be bowing down to him. Well, he is no other person that the great Matthew Rodriguez who is popularly known as Matt, the richest billionaire in New York and the 3rd Richest man in the United States of America. He is, in fact, Lucas elder brother. He is always on business trips, so he hardly goes home.
“What are you all doing here, I don’t remember calling you guys”
“ Yes, Boss, you didn’t call us, but that girl over there is Master Lucas’ wife, and we have come to get her”
“How is that possible, Lucas never told me anything about a wife, so why so suddenly”
“Master Matt, she signed a contract with Master Lucas that she was going to be his wife, and she was paid for that, so now she is his wife. We thought she was dead, but it turned out that she isn’t dead, so now the boss wants to see her now”
Matt was shocked to hear this and wondered why Bella easily signed the contract to marry a stranger, he decided that he should hear from her first before sending Bella to him because he of all people knows that Lucas is a monster when it comes to women and he must have done something to make Bella agree to sign the contract.
“You all can leave. Tell Lucas that when she wakes up, I will send her to him”
“Ok, boss, let’s leave now” the chief guard said.
“I wonder what prompted such a damsel to sign that contract, I will just have to wait for her to wake up” He thought. He felt so much attraction to her, and he wondered why he was so drawn to her since he had not met her before. He looked at her for a while and fell asleep.
The next morning, Mia woke up at a corner of the club with a hangover. Her head ached so much that she could barely open her eyes. When she finally managed to open her eyes, she looked around for Bella, but she was nowhere to be found. She picked up her phone and called her, it rang and ended, there was no reply. “I wonder where she must be, I hope she is safe and sound” Mia thought.
Bella was finally coming around, and she also had a hangover. It took a while for her to realise that she was not in her house but somewhere unfamiliar. She looked over at the couch and saw a man sleeping with his face ,turned towards the other side. She thought it might be a kidnapper, so she grabbed the vase beside her to hit him with it.
As he was about to hit him, he felt someone’s presence and woke up only to see Bella about to hit him. He held her hands firmly and collected the vase. “ Excuse me, sir. How did I get here? Who are you? Why are you holding me here? What right do you have to even hold me?” The questions were getting too much that Matt had to put his finger over her mouth to stop her blabbering.
“ You were dead drunk last night, and you ran into me. I noticed that you were alone, so I decided to bring you here so that once you get sober, then you can leave.”
“ Oh really. I am grey for the inconvenience I might have caused you” She looked at her self and wondered if this unknown man had taken advantage of her and just as she was about to ask him, he spoke “ You must be thinking that I might have taken advantage of you, yesterday but I did not. You tried to lay with me, but I pushed you away because you were not in the right frame of mind.
At this point, Bella felt so ashamed of herself. What was she thinking to the extent of almost laying with an unknown man. She quickly arranged her hair and was about to leave. “ Thank you very much, sir. It is very difficult to find kind-hearted men these days who are genuinely caring. Men are after what they can get from women these days, but you are different, may God bless you”
“Amen dear, I just did what a normal human should do. Please don’t flatter me besides, what is your name?”
