"Were you ever allowed to take part in sports, or any event that had any remote kind of danger of as you now suspect, exposure?" Jason asked again and I slumped and leaned toward the edge of the roof, robotically walking as I felt everything finally crumble apart, any hope that I had been holding on to faded with his words, he could have been leading in to my obvious doubts and paranoia, but I felt too empty to even consider what he was saying or suggesting to be false, it all felt too real no matter what way I looked at it from. "If I look at it subjectively, I never really had any freedom, did i?" I openly admitted, and then felt Jason's hand lock with mine when I took a step too close to climbing the edge, my vision had shifted to memories and I hadn't even noticed I was about to walk
