A day of pointless conversations and me avoiding the books passed, and Justin's hints of them had passed and everything seemed okay, nothing remotely supernatural happened, I stayed cooped up all day watching TV, Jason went on with business and Justin checked in a few times while he too seemed busy with whatever it was they really did outside of school and pack responsibilities, Lisa and the others were their usual selves too, so when I made the suggestion after sunset that we all go out into the city they all jumped at the idea.
