Waking up that morning, I saw Cordelia quietly seated on the edge of the bed. She had a worried look on her face, which washed down the moment she saw me. It was as if she was scared of something happening and was relieved when I woke up.
“Is everything all right?” I rubbed my eyes while trying to get up from the bed.
“I think you overslept, and I've tried waking you a couple of times before now. You weren't waking up, so I got worried that something might have happened to you and there was no way to reach out to Glint and let them know that you're not feeling too well.”
