Ethan’s POV
Two days have passed since I last saw Ava and strictly followed Ivana’s terms. Luckily, she knew nothing about my last conversation with her, so there was no way she could suspect anything about what I am going to do next.
“Are you sure about this, Ethan?” Richard's voice was drenched in concern.
He had insisted that he stayed with me or at least come over when he had a less busy day at work, and although I never admitted it to him, he was the kind of person I needed at this point.
“Yes,” I gazed into nothing while sipping coffee from my mug.
