My mind flashes back to the other day and our conversation with my father. Luckily, Trinity didn’t run away or become hysterical. I had thanked the moon goddess for keeping my mate calm and willing to listen to everything. I could see her mind churning and questions bubbling up, but she asked nothing. The only things she had talked about were what will happen now within our people. We discussed what will happen after the investigation is done and explained we would personally oversee her pack, so her pack isn’t left without a leader or an alpha. She seemed to be fine with it.
