“Do you understand what I’ve told you? Or do you have any questions? I know this is a lot of information to take in, but I think our biggest concern right now is your lose of your wolf. You need to get your wolf back to make a full recovery.” He pauses for a moment and glances down at his tablet. “I still can’t explain why or how you woke up so soon, especially without your wolf. It doesn’t make any sense. But I’m glad you did.”
My stomach churns. If he only knew, he might not be glad.
He gives me a faint smile. “You are healing. We need to also heal your wolf side. She took the brunt of the attack, including the effects of the poison. I wouldn’t be surprised if it takes several weeks, if not months, for your wolf to recover and return.”
