Trinity POV I slowly lick my lips. Hmmm… A sweet, alluring taste lingers, but I don’t know why. I didn’t eat any sweets last night, but this isn’t the first time this has happened. It has been happening every morning for the last several days. Each morning I wake feeling alive and better than the previous day. My body doesn’t ache, and I feel like I could go run through the forest without a problem. I shake my head and sit up in bed. I wish I knew what the taste was from. If I did, I would make sure I had more of it every day. Something nudges me at the back of my mind, but it is followed by silence, which I’ve grown to hate with every fiber in my body.
