A clear moon greeted us high in the sky and cast a beautiful silvery sheen on top of the ice lake’s frozen surface. One of the many marvels of the Academy grounds. The coast was clear and with the cloak of night covering most of our movements, we snuck away from the hut. While the ice lake was a large open area, it was covered by long reeds and slight hills that broke the line of sight. This wasn’t the first time we snuck around here, for either of us, I assumed.
