Chapter 6: Ruining Her Life

“Aria, this is your stepmom, Vanessa,” Mr Richard said pointing to the older woman. Aria smiled genuinely when she saw her and bowed respectfully.

“Oh, poor girl. I heard what happened. I’m so sorry. Don’t worry, you will have nothing to worry about here,” Vanessa said warmly and hugged her tightly. After releasing

“Hi,” a beautiful looking innocent girl, clearly around her age, waved at her, grinning ear to ear

“That’s your sister, Tiffany,” Vanessa said

“Can I hug you?” Tiffany asked in a soft voice. She didn’t even wait for Aria’s reply before hugging her

“Dad, she’s pretty,” Tiffany said after releasing her. Richard smiled at her words. He was happy they liked her at least

Aria’s heart felt at peace. At least this family didn’t make her feel left out or nervous. She looked down and noticed the little boy pouting as he stared at her. She waved at him

“Hi”

But the little boy didn’t answer. Instead, he slowly walked to her and hugged her legs

Aria’s heart warmed. She bent down and hugged him gently. He was so cute

“That’s your little brother, Noah. Seems he really likes you,” Vanessa said happily.

After the family moment, Aria was shown her room. It was spacious and beautiful, unlike her old room. She was happy the colour wasn’t too sharp, just a soft cream colour

She unpacked her things and, after arranging them, lay on her bed and took her phone to call Rowan and tell him about this nice family

It was evening. Mr Richard stood on the balcony of his room holding a glass of champagne, staring at the compound. His eyes showed sadness

Suddenly, someone hugged him from behind. He recognized the scent immediately

'Vanessa'

“What's wrong?” Vanessa asked, concerned

Richard sighed deeply “I’m thinking about what we are doing… if it’s right. Aria seems like a very young innocent girl. It feels like we are ruining her life,” he said

Vanessa frowned and stepped away, standing in front of him

“Seriously, Richard? What about my daughter’s life? Are we not going to ruin her life by not doing this? Come on, we planned this for months. This is also a great opportunity for Aria to live in luxury and peace. It’s like we are doing her a favour,” Vanessa said, holding his hands

“I don’t know, Vanessa… she’s still very young,” Richard replied

“Tiffany is also young. Wait don’t tell me you’re thinking of stopping this? Think about the company. Without this marriage, we’ll go bankrupt. I won’t let you ruin everything we built because you feel pity for a daughter you barely know,” she said firmly

After a moment of silence, Richard sighed

“So… where do we start from?”

Vanessa smiled

“Now that’s the spirit. Let her enjoy her stay today. Tomorrow, I’ll talk to her. Trust me, everything will be fine,”

Vanessa said and kissed him on his lips, she rubbed her hand on his member which she could feel from his trouser.

This made Richard in the mood he immediately dropped his glass cup on the stool beside him and kissed her roughly pushing her into the room. Soon the sounds of moans filled the bedroom.
