The next morning at the Chairman’s house, Chris asked his grandfather, "Did you sleep well?" There was no response. Deciding it was time to break the news, Chris said, "I have decided to go on the blind date." As soon as he spoke those words, the Chairman's expression ignited with enthusiasm. "Yes, that’s good!" he exclaimed.
Meanwhile, at the office, Raven was in deep trouble, facing a debt of $80,000 due to what had happened at Alex's restaurant. She was in tears, regretting the ruin she brought to the couple celebrating their anniversary.
Later, Raven met up with Lily to discuss the date. "Wait, you’re partly to blame for putting this idea in my head," she joked, and they both laughed. Just then, Lily's phone rang. She noticed a message from her father and exclaimed, "Wait, you saved his number as 'biological father'! What?” Raven asked in surprise.
Lily explained that she was taking on extra work to help pay off Raven's debt. "Hey, I might not be able to go," Raven said reluctantly. "You have to go for yourself," Lily insisted. "I’ll pay you." Raven turned to look at her best friend, and they both smiled in excitement for what lay ahead.
"President Chris!" Evans called. "What? Your blind date is at seven! It's at the coffee shop with Miss Lily from J Group."
"I have a full schedule today. Tell them I'm busy," Christopher replied.
Evans placed a phone in front of him from his grandfather. "I don't want to hear you saying anything about being too busy. Move things around and make the time; that’s exactly why I pay you," Evans urged. Christopher exhaled and leaned back in his chair.
“I hope you find a suitable partner from these ten candidates,” Evans continued. “Why? Because numbers 11 and 14 are from Japan and Switzerland respectively. Do you need to travel that far for a blind date?” Christopher said, raising his eyebrows in alarm at the thought of the future.
“Just get married, as the Chairman wants,” Evans suggested. “It would be a lot better; then the Chairman will be off your back, and work will return to normal.” Chris leaned back, rubbing his eyes and clasping his hands together. "Planning to end this torment sounds like a good idea," he admitted.
Lily takes Raven to a high-end boutique to find the perfect dress for her blind date, determined to make her look stunning. After trying several options, Raven steps out in a midnight-red gown that leaves both of them speechless.
Back at Raven’s apartment, Lily transforms the living room into a salon and works her makeup magic, giving Raven a polished and radiant look. Nervous but encouraged by Lily’s unwavering support, Raven heads out, ready to face the date and make an impression—even if her mission is to turn him down.
In a world filled with dreams of wealth and glamour, the idea of a blind date with a billionaire might sound like the perfect fairy tale. However, beneath the sparkling surface lies a reality that often shatters those illusions.
As She stepped into this high-stakes encounter, She couldn’t shake the feeling that money can’t buy true connections.
The play has started, and now it's time to flex your acting chops. Raven aspires, “No, wait, I'm Lily Steel of J Group.”
“Ms. Steel!” Christopher calls.
“Yes,” Raven responds, turning her gaze towards him. She sees him standing tall in a black tuxedo, looking handsome as he approaches her. She can't contain her thoughts, “What? Why is he so good-looking? He's so hot! Oh no, I wish I could take my time appreciating his looks, but I need to end things quickly. Right?” She turns to face him, mentally preparing herself.
She creates a plan in her head to turn him down and let the date go upside down. “Why don't I start by being rude?” she thinks. “I don't even know your name,” Raven states, giving him a cat-eye look while pulling out her card.
Christopher pulls out his card too. “I'm Christopher Wells,” he says.
“What? Chris? Christopher!”
Still following her plan, Raven looks at his card and sees the title: “President of GoFood.” Her eyes can't believe what she just discovered. She becomes lost in thought. Christopher notices her distraction and calls out, “Ms. Steel? Lily?”
“Yes,” she replies.
“Is something wrong?” he asks.
“No, no, not at all… Sorry, I'll be back.” Raven rushes to the restroom.
“Oh no, oh no! Lily, Lily! Pick up the phone, leave a message after the tone!” Her phone beeps. Raven, in a panic, exclaims, “Lily, you crazy girl! This is ridiculous! Let's just run. I can get away, right? Yes!” She heads back to the date.
Christopher stares at Raven, puzzled by her behavior. “Yes, I just need to stay calm,” she whispers to herself. “There’s $80,000 on the line. Yes, Raven, you can do it. I mean Lily!”
Christopher offers her tea like a gentleman. Raven picks up the cup, her hands shaking. “Don't be nervous,” she tells herself, adjusting her body language.
“He doesn’t know the real you! Just an employee of his company. He thinks you’re Lily Steel of J Group.” Raven suddenly drops her jacket collar, revealing her arms. “No man likes when a woman reveals too much skin,” she whispers as she stares at him.
“Aren't you cold?” Chris asks, looking surprised.
“Cold? No, it’s perfect!” she replies, raising her arms and tossing her hair back to expose her neck. Christopher, oblivious to her intentions, comments that she has goosebumps on her hands.
“Step 2,” Raven thinks, as she hits the table with her leg, causing her bag to fall. “Oh no! Did I scare you? Yes, I know,” she says teasingly, showing her obsession as she kisses the bag. She smiles, thinking, “A woman crazy about luxury goods—how's that for a turn-off?”
She looks over and sees Christopher not falling for her tricks but touching his phone. “What are you doing?” she asks.
“Oh, so sorry,” he replies. “I received a text from the office.” He looks at her curiously, trying to figure out what she said before.
“I’m so sad,” Raven replies. “Your disinterest makes Samantha and Rachel so sad…”
“Samantha and Rachel?” Chris asks, confused.
Raven signals to him as he leans in closer. She demonstrates, “This one on this side is Samantha, and the other side is Rachel.” Shaking the bag, she adds, “I spent a whopping $100k on each side…” She smiles, “Hiiiiiii! I bet you've never met anyone as crazy as this before.”
Chris can't hold in his expression and unexpectedly bursts out laughing, spilling his tea. Raven tries to end the conversation, saying, “I’m rambling, aren’t I?” But Chris unexpectedly replies, “No, I prefer an honest person like you over a liar.” He smiles at Raven.
Raven is surprised; her plans are not going as she expected. “What? Why is he so positive?!”
