VERA IN PRIMARY SCHOOl.

288 Words
Jovial people are usually the sad one's inside. When I am around my peers, it feels like all my burdens have been taken off of me. I played my sorrows away. I wasn't a brilliant chap in school but at least I was average. The school didn't really matter to me because I just wanted to be free, happy, and loved. I had my first crush in primary five but it was a difficult one because I had no one I could tell exactly how I felt. it was scary. He was every girl's dream guy even to date. His mom called me his wife and it made me feel like I had made it in life. I wish love happened by just name-calling. I wanted more than just name-calling but sadly he saw me as one of his guys because of my turn boy attitude. I couldn't wait forever to get his attention so I had a new crush and it felt more mutual between us. He was the listening ear I needed to rant to and all. Few years down the line, he relocated back to the village and that was how I lost a friend. We didn't have phones as kids back then. Since there was no one to talk too and I couldn't contain my feelings, I started touching myself just to get pleasure. I became a m**********n addict. I did this because I lacked self-love and self-esteem. I felt no one loved me and no one would love me for who I was. At least all my friends had boyfriend's and I was just to myself. The devil always looks for opportunities to destroy us in our present struggle.
