Kieran pov.
She looked at me with teary eyes.
"You looked her Celeste in the eyes and believed she betrayed you. Didn't question it. Didn't fight for her. Just... executed her like she meant nothing."
I pulled back, looking at her tear-stained face. "I know. And I will regret that for the rest of my life. But I'm fighting for you now. I'm questioning everything now. Please. Let me make this right."
She stared up at me, golden eyes swimming with tears. "How? How do you justify murdering your mate?"
"I don't know," I admitted. "But I'll spend every day trying. I'll prove to you that I'm not that man anymore. That I learned from my mistakes. That I'll never, ever fail you again."
"Promises are easy."
"Then let me show you." I kiss
