It was deep and directly connected to the underground river beneath the cave. Our waste would be washed away by the river, ensuring hygiene wouldn't be a problem.
To our relief, under Cindy's attentive care, Cynthia's condition gradually improved.
Although she remained weak, the fever had subsided, and she was much more alert. At least she could now eat without any issues.
