I c****d my head to the side and cleared my ears to make sure Javian's words reached my ears. There was no way he would ask me such a question. I had to be hearing wrong. I cleared my throat. "Excuse me?" He leaned back in the seat and drummed his fingers on the car door as if contemplating repeating himself. When he was satisfied, he spoke. "Look, there is something I want to see and I can't if you're going to be all shy. We both know you are not and it's kind of annoying. So, if you don't want to watch it, you can stay here in the car. I'll be out on the beach." His drumming ceased and he pulled the door and slipped out of the car. I stayed frozen in the spot, watching him walk away. My curiosity monitor was at its peak. I couldn't tell if this was a test or if it was real. Regardless
